Free MultiTrack from New Batch of Hymns Released

Our free track this month is from a brand new batch of 20 hymn backing tracks from Nathan Drake at Reawaken Hymns.

Jesus Thine All Victorious Love is taken from the brand new album Hymns of the Spirit. It comes with a free simple chord chart.

The song uses the original words from the old hymn with a new melody written by Nathan Drake. The song has an indie rock worship sound. Other songs on the album all use the traditional melodies but with a contemporary feel. You can listen to samples of each song by clicking the video below.

Jesus Thine All Victorious Love comes with the original WAV files for use in a DAW such as Ableton, and Transition Tracks for Worship Backing Band’s Mac/PC or iPad Transition MultiTrack Player. MultiTracks are the simplest and least expensive solution to get a full band sound from your worship team, even if you’ve only got a couple of musicians.

The song is also available as a Split Track. If you’ve not seen our Split Tracks before this is a good opportunity to download one and see what you think of the format. On-screen words and “split track” vocals.

We have released another huge batch of carols as backing tracks. These are modern arrangements of classic songs. The songs are the original recordings from the album The Soul Felt It’s Worth by Nathan Drake at Reawaken Hymns.

They include a beautiful new version of Hallelujah from the Messiah Chorus.

The melody and lyrics are unchanged from the traditional carol but the music is updated with a modern worship band sound.

Free Download from the new Shawn Thomas Album – before it’s released!

Worship leader and CCM artist Shawn Thomas will be releasing his new album “Born Again Again” on May 23rd, but you can listen to and even download one of the songs for free right here on Worship Backing Band before anyone else!

The free download is for an upbeat contemporary style song called “You Are My God (Strong Tower).” The lyrics are based on scriptures from Psalm 18:2-3, Proverbs 18:10 and Romans 11:36. (“The name of the Lord is a Strong Tower…”)

It is interesting how the best selling MultiTracks and Split Tracks differ. This is likely due to larger churches buying MultiTracks (because they have existing musicians, larger worship teams and want more versatility in their worship services). Split tracks tend to be purchased by smaller churches that tend to prefer older, more established songs and have often not yet discovered the newer releases. So for instance, our number one selling MultiTrack, Graves Into Gardens, does not even feature in our Split Track top 25.

So if you are in a small church and haven’t yet discovered some of these newer songs such as Graves into Gardens, House of the Lord and The Father’s House do have a listen and consider introducing them to your services.

The free track for March, Anchor of My Soul, is by Calvary Chapel worship leader Kevin McCarthy. Kevin says “I love music. I love attitude. I love a good hook. But mostly I’ve come to find the meaning of ALL of it, through a love for God and His Son Jesus Christ.”

Anchor of My Soul is the title track from his album of songs designed to point others to the heart of God through songs that bless and encourage those who sing and hear them.

It was inspired by three passages: Isaiah 43 where God promises to be with us despite walking through rivers or fire, Daniel’s protection from the Fiery Furnace and Hebrews 6 which describes our hope as an anchor of the soul that is sure and steadfast.
